Description vent art i guess. not something I do often but maybe I should, it helps. and usually some of my best work comes from strong emotions, so..

edit: guys wow stop pitying me?? I'm fine. After drawing something I always feel better.

Also for those of you commenting on how I should draw things being "more happy" instead, have you not seen my gallery? Literally everything else I draw is undeniably happy. Not everyone is sunshine and daisies all the time, so why do I have to be? Where are all of you guys when I make happy stuff anyway? You never say anything about those.

Agree with the title, as my patience died out yesterday.

As for the art, very well done~

As you said, when something is bothering you drawing things like this can be very cathartic! And it often results in lovely artwork, too.

Your sona looks quite regal and cat-like here! Love the fluid lines and pose <3

Darling, you don't need to listen to people like that. You are allowed to draw what you like. And I for one, love emotional art. I feel like it's more raw and personal that way, though it does make people comment less I notice. ; ; Which is dumb because yo should be able to draw what you like without a second though. I draw cute/happy art, but I also like drawing sad and emotional art. Always have, always will. I don't get a lot of comments but that's not my loss at all.

If you ever need to talk to someone, I'm here. <3 I know we don't know each other well but I would like to...<3Β

Love it! Your stronger pieces usually come from something 'out of the ordinary' for you! All of your art is fantastic but I find this one very breathtaking; her expression, fading effect, and flowing stance!Β

Keep it up, I'll always be behind everything you create!

Amber, I love all of your art, happy or sad. (but you know that xD)

I really love that technique where you sort of blur out/fade the parts farthest away from the viewer, I really wanna do that sometime. xD

I also love how long your ears look in this 8) Your fursona is so simple but it's the lttle things like her ears or the two tail tufts that make her stand out and look so unique, and I love every bit of it. <3

People tend to look at sadness as something bad and we have to avoid, when the true is that there's no more beautiful thing than embrace it and make it ours, it makes us feel better and get stronger with time

I know exactly what your saying. I usually smile a lot when around other people, but if anyone ever sees me not, it's like something is wrong with me. I have more than one emotion and just because I'm not showing it on my face all the time doesn't mean something's wrong with me.

I love this expression and look on her. It's definitely one of my favorite drawings you did of her. Β Β Your other work is great to, but I really enjoy this look and expression you gave to her, not to mention her appearance. Would love to see more like this of her. Great work.Β Β

It's my pleasure. I enjoy viewing your work in particular, including many others on this site. I personally can't draw worth a darn is why I haven't posted anything, but am working on improving and hope to do someday. It's a lot harder than I thought it'd be and just seeing some of the work you and many others produce just makes me wonder how ya'll became so talented and create these beautiful pieces of work.

I look forward to your future work.Β Β

"...usually some of my best work comes from strong emotions"

As this image shows.

Let's hope next time it's a more positive emotion. I don't like the thought of people being sad.

Sorry to hear things aren't going so well, hope things get better soon. I love the expression even if it's not a happy one.

The shading is quite something, here, almost as if you're fading away... I pray that you will find peace.

Sorry to hear about whatever it is thats wrong. Hopefully things will be looking up soon.

Art wise, this looks really pretty. Love the shading style used here, and I do admire her expression, even if it is a negative one.Β
