As promised, a new portrait of my Harry Potter oc, and probably the OC dearest to me of all time, Alexis Renard:
--Ravenclaw
--Pureblood
--French
--Animagus: black fox with blue eyes. Youngest registered Animagus to date since Minerva McGonagall, achieving it at age 3. May have to do with the fact that his father Victor Renard is an internationally renowned Transfiguration scholar.
--Mother Odile Guerrisseur Renard is also a bit of a legend, the Mediwitch/Healer at St. Mungo's who began a therapy program and whole separate hospital wing for victims of mental disturbance as the result of dark arts trauma. Unfortunately Odile too fell prey to mental illness as the result of the dark arts against which she fought. By the time of Order of the Phoenix, however, she has obtained enough treatment of her own to resume her practice and be a useful Healer for Order members.
--Younger sister is Margaret Renard, a Hufflepuff and Seer-in-training (a real one, not a Trelawney one ).
--Transfer student from Beauxbatons his second year (age 12). Was youngest Chaser to record on Beauxbatons Quidditch team and on a local non-school team at his home just outside Paris. Was also first in his class at Beauxbatons and almost immediatly ascends to the same record of academic excellence at Hogwarts.
--Intelligent, witty, slightly hyperactive, always cheerful, a strong sense of humor, and incredibly loyal. First name means "helper" and is very indicative of his core character.
--Best friend of 's character Haylin Daire--werewolf, Irish, also Ravenclaw.
