Ahaa, I just took an image from google to use as a reference and that's the way her mane was in the pic :b (I don't think there is a correct way tho, cause in the show she's seen with the stripes both on the left and on the right depending on what way she's facing, if that's what you meant)

Actually, there is a correct way, the animators and most of the time the commercial people are just too lazy to care usually. Β I've done a lot of research and the manes were a little more consistent in Season 1. Β Sweetie Belle's also became more consistent in "For Whom The Sweetie Belle Toils"
When I direct animated shorts on my YouTube channel, I make sure the animators keep the manes consistent.

Alright. Β I'm mainly picky about this with Sweetie Belle more then I am most of the other ponies. Β Rarity is a close second however.

It's mostly because her own show vector is mirrored instead of having two sides, really. So it doesn't matter that much. Many people just draw her with her mane falling on both sides.
