Description All of my craftwork is based on the concept (fan fictional concept) of the world Prestel, of "Last Exile" anime series. The concept includes military and civil clothing and accesories of many social groups and military organisations, mentioned and not mentioned in anime series.

Some (fan fictional) history facts:

Anatoray Voluntary City Militia (Aνατοραι Εθελοντικε Πoλη στρατοu) – military organization formed by government in a postwar period , mostly from demobilized low-rank soldiers. The actual purpose of this unit was to fight with organized crime, civil unrest, riots, smugglers and sky pirates. At the over hand the social purpose of this unit’s creation, was to give an employment to vast numbers of demobilized aerial musketeers, who didn’t know any other work, except serving as a deck sharpshooter, and in many occasions didn’t have a home to return to. If not employed and properly controlled, These people could become a considerable problem for a society of Anatoray. Actually, a vast number of former soldeirs, who decidef not to join Voluntary Militia or to start a settled life, did join the ranks of fast growing numbers of pirate bands and smuggler artels.

By the decree of the Imperial Court, each city council was forced to host a number of militia regiments (depending on the city size), and to supply them with place of residence, three meals a day and a rather low wage. However, in fact many different types of equipment and facilities were usually donated by the host city to it's militia - mechanic shops, old courier and heavycargo vanships, even refueling aerial platforms - all this was abandoned, "nationalized" or simply confiscated by city council during the war period.
There were three conditions necessary for joining the militia - more than one year of army service, posseion of a firearm and possesion of a melee weapon. Officialy, each and every volunteer obeyed only to the quartermaster-in-comand - administrative employee in the cervice of the city, attached to every regiment and reporting directly to the city council. However, a some kind of subordination was developed inside the militia, usually based on the age, experience and personal achievements of the volunteer during his service in army and militia.
At the beginning, uniform of volunteers consisted only from an armband with sign of Anatoray and abbreviation “A.V.C.M’’ . Although, very soon, volunteers created their own uniform codex, or, in a greater degree, a kind of fashion, varying from a homecity and volunteer’s occupation in his unit.
During the first post-war years, Voluntary Militia was the crutch that supported local power in it's struggle to sustain order in society. Low cost, self sufficient, expirienced army of men, that, basically had almost nothing to loose.
