Brutaka, my fav character, once again; done with graphite pencils!
I re-scanned this one
Okay, so... this is probably the first good artwork I've done about Bionicle. "Resting Warrior" was faved more than a hundred times on my main account. Look, it's the very end of 2012 and I FINALLY start to actually make art out of that Bionicle series. Now, Mesdames et Messieurs, we are definitely leaving the 'old and barely viewable stuff' category. Now, REAL SH*T BEGINS

By the way, I wouldn't say he's "human" here; very organic, maybe humanized, but he's absolutely not meant to be human.
He has no human face under this mask, you see...

Yeah, though that face expression you are giving to him make his face LOOK like a mask.
From perspective of person that can't draw circular circle (me), he looks like he's wearing an armor and have skin underneath.
It's more visible in black and white, than in colors.

Yes, it is the case actually! I always draw Bionicles that way in fact. He is wearing armor on his skin. That must have made you think he was human but he's not; just humanized, with an athropomorphic body.
It's just a mess around words.
