[Charcoal stick]Grima Wormtongue. He doesn't get enough portraits. You always see Aragorn, Frodo, ARWEN. Come to think of it, Grima, Eomer, Theoden, Denethor.. Gamling! You never see Gamling! *modifies her list of to-do portraits*
I liked the chiaroscuro light and dark boldness and the mood it creates. I was happy with the facial structure and shading, but if you full view it you can see many poorly executed details. I spent hours on the freakin eyes and nothing good came of it. I thought about throwing a gaussian blur on the whole thing to hide the details and then say I smudged it. But that would be cheating.

Aww, poor Wormtongue. He's not ALL bad; after all, he loves Eowyn, who is a HECK of a lot cooler than Arwen. *gags* Anyway, I'm supposed to be commenting on the picture, heh! Well, obviously it's amazing. It's all dark and intense and moody, and I pretty much love it. I can just hear his raspy hiss: "A just question, my liege...." *grin* EEE, I LOVE IT!

Yeah, he's an awesome subject. I loved etching him out on the paper. I love the character because I love the way I somehow hate AND pity him.

I really really like this picture! Everything from the hair to the shading is done perfectly. I can't really leave you any critique on this one... it's just too good to be critiqued ^^ You did the hair very well, and the eyes look great. ^^ Excellent work!

Hey, you're right. You never see those people. And it's pretty rare to see merry and pippin and faramir also. There are enough pictures of arwen to last the world a life time. I salute you and your Grima picture - it's really good!
