I finished this one just before EFNW but forgot to post it anywhere. Started this almost a year ago... I'm really slow sometimes. Thankfully the commissioner was patient! I tried to keep a more loose, 'painterly' style with this one.Almost entirely done with the Oil Flat brush on a single layer.

I had thought this was made in relation to "On the Road to Friendship," but now I can see it was started LONG before that.

This is doubly impressive-- not only is it drop-dead gorgeous, but it's well outside of your usual art style. I always love compositions that put all the detail on the focus and render the rest of the piece in an impressionistic style, it feels like the way actual memories work.
