Description Anyone ever heard of ElfQuest? Anyone? Well, this is a drawing of a drawing of the chief Cutter. This is the first one I did. I like it, though his face is a bit wide.... grr... Yeah, I find faults in all my works.

i adore it, looks just like something wendy pini drew herself, no flaws at all. And yes elfquest fans spread far and wide. Even in the microscopic little village of bovekerke in Belgium. The only sad fact is that not all off the comics have been translated, dutch comics only go as far as shards

Thank you! It was a combination of copying by hand and semi-cheating. I had the paper taped above the wood and switched back and forth between the two so quickly that the images and new lines all blended together. I felt like a professional animator.

So I take it your from Belgium? You're lucky, then, if you can read English, which obviously you can. You don't have to wait for translations.

yes well that would be great if i could get my hands on some, even the translated one's are rare. A friend searches the markets for me cause he's such a comic-freak :-p but still i'm missing fifteen of the 70 or so comics.

by the way ;-p If i can get a picture of it i'll put my own cutter-art on my page, although not all of it looks alike.

Have you tried Wendy Pini's official ElfQuest site? You can buy the comics there. They're expensive, and it's a "buy them before they're gone" deal, but it's worth a shot. Also, I think Amazon recently came out with rebound graphic novels. I haven't gotten one yet (because my mother has 1-12 with various leaf comics) so I don't know their quality or structure, but it's also worth a shot.
