Description My 2nd 100% Sai drawing. Just a rough sketch, I was experimenting with Sai's colouring abilities and stuff and I thought it came out well enough to post. Classic boring Cloud pose based off of Nomura's artworks.

I guess not many people know, but I actually started my "fanartist career" with Final Fantasy fanart. I've been obsessing over the FF series for about 10 or 11 years now, lol. I don't play the games any longer, but I still follow the news about them, look up info, collect videos, pics and fanart.
However, I've never really drawn Cloud before (except for one crappy incomplete fast sketch I did without references in an exercise book back in 2004 or 2005). So I decided to do this as some kind of a stress relief thing.



Cloud is a character from Final Fantasy VII and belongs to Tetsuya Nomura and Square Enix

The sketch is the hardest thing for me to do. Plus my sketches often turn out better than my finished polished works.

Lol, the funny thing is I don't know why he turned out more manly, because the guys I usually draw aren't exactly the manliest kind of guys...

Aw, my 5 second doodles are horrible. XD; I actually worked for about 2 hours on this one, I just call it a doodle because it's sketchy and unfinished.

Köszi. Biztos igazad van, néztem hozzá a dissidiás illusztrációt, elég hasonló is lett a beállítás meg minden, de a kezét pont nem úgy rajzoltam, ahogy azon volt, szóval tuti rossz. XD;

Mi az hogy "csak"? Nekem az ilyen vázlatos dolgok jobban szoktak sikerülni, mint a kész kihúzott rendesen kiszínezett bigyók, amik felett 6-8 órát görnyedek.

Hátööö, attól hogy nincs kihúzva, ez még photoshopos (illetve a Paint Tool Sai-t nyúzom mostanában, ez pont 100% Sai rajz). Minden rajzom, ami nem ceruzás, az gépen rajzolt.
Loool, én kilencedikben hármas voltam rajzból gimiben... XD XD XDDD

You should make your own charas this buff too. It'll help their manliness

So you use Sai now? I downoaded it once but it was all in Japanese and I gave up.
I think its' really good. The colouring is nice and smooth. There's is something different about it... that might be because of sai no?

I use both Photoshop and Sai. Mine's English. Well, mostly. The Help menu and stuff are in Japanese. XD;
