I have no idea how long this took. I used a bunch of different graphite pencils, varying from 4H-H, F, HB, B, 2B, 5B and 6B. Yeah... it took forever, and it still needs a tiny bit of work, but it's done, for the most part.New picture.

this looks really good. it seems you're really developing your own style of drawing, very soft. it lends to the drawings you're doing very nicely.

I suppose it's not realism, but more of a... shaded idealism, I guess.

its realism if it looks like the intended subject. which it does. however, there are varying degrees in which one can depict realism. some people are very detail oriented, almost painstakingly so and they tend to have a more photo-realistic style. others have more looseness in their gesture or softness in their lines/shading.
None of these are any better than the others - its all personal preference and what you find to be your way.

I guess I'm the latter. I could probably manage the former with training, but as an amateur it's easier to stick to the way I do it now.

I love it, only thing that could be better is those eyebrows x.X They contrast the entire drawing. Unless you were going for that in which case great work!

They definitely need to look more realistic, but the point of his eyebrows is that they're jet black, while his hair is snow white. It's a contrast I always noticed while playing the game, so I decided to make it as obvious in my drawing as it is to me in the game. It was only partly on purpose, but... yeah, it was, for the most part. Thank you for the kind words!

Every time I tried to get it to work, it just blended >.> I may just have to mess around with mixing 3B and 6B and see if that helps. Not sure though.
