I don't even know how to feel about this picture xD I was really pumped when the Sonic Boom designs were announced and immediately sketched Amy, but I was dissatisfied with parts here and there when I was in the middle of coloring it which is why it took me a while. And I also used a wrong reference at first OTL Which is why I drew boots instead of shoes, but eventually let that be because I thought it looked better <_<" Her hammer gave me a ridiculous amount of trouble as well and I still dislike it but urghhhh I just wanted to get this over with already >n<" Maybe there is someone who likes it out there! I also learned hat lineless art becomes much harder with more colors and details. Which was sort of obvious, but I didn't think it'd make such a huge difference as it eventually did o.o" Either way I think that I will do a bit traditional stuff next! Probably o.o
I feel as if there is more I should say but I have really no idea what. So that's it o:

Just keep sketching every once in a while and try new things out when you see other artists do something you like and I'm sure you'll see the improvement as well! ^^

oh i do that already i did improve a lot since i last seen you it's just some of my pictures i take my time on and some pictures is rushed pictures lol so it depends on how much time i put into a picture

Other than that, I actually really love the coloring, here~<3 Although, I think you could have defined the area between where her skirt meets her leg, a bit more clearly, as the two colors kind of blend together.

Because I also noticed, but I couldn't reposition the whole hammer because the stick-thingy looked off and didn't have the patience to redraw that hand which I actually liked... but at least I learned a lot about what I shouldn do again

Nice job on this, Ama. I really like her pose here, and the boots look nice, even though they don't look right. XD Makes me wonder what reference you used. The way her hammer looks kinda bendy bugs me a little bit, but other than that, I think this is pretty good.

Thank you~ And I used this as a reference at first: static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/G… Now I can see that they also look like shoes, here, but... I really saw them as boots first before I looked for more references...
Ahh yes, the hammer! I thought it was a good idea to make it look more dynamic at first and it seemed alright in the sketch, but when I colored it I noticed that this didn't look too well. But her arms were already done and I didn't want to do them all over again ;n;" So I let it be as bendy as it is. At least I learned something for the future

Ah, that pic. =o Yeah, Amy's shoes do kinda look like boots here, I can see why you made that mistake. Same with the hammer, I can see why you wouldn't want to go back at that point. XD That'd just be a pain. But yeah, now you know, lol.

Well, we all know what little Rose's purpose was when she was created. And then happens the hammer. And, to be truthful... I always saw Amy as a cupid with a little less stealthy methods than the arrows... and she just looks so cute in your picture, but there's that hammer reminding you of the hit she can do...
Pretty much, though I do not look out for news about it. I have so many friends hyped so much I hear it all without the need of searching xD My first reaction to seeing new Knux was spitting the milk I was drinking at the moment though xD

It's the same for me! If you use Tumblr, you get the information asap over there xD But it doesn't take long until it's all over deviantART, too! I find that to be quite useful, though, so research become basically unnecessary. As for Knux... he still looks so STRANGE to me >.<" I can see that it fits him, but it is defintiely something to get used to.. xD

Though I mostly like what they did with other charas... can't really see what some people screech about the not blue hands on Sonic. It's still the awesome character as he always was.
