Description EDIT:

Just HAD to try again with this one, this is what happens when you shit people. Lighting was so bad and I didn't do any compositing

Here's the old version but shield your eyes lol

The Amalgamation Universe is a Sci-Fi videogame crossover universe that has it's own expanded lore, galaxy map, timeline and comics.

In the Amalgamation Universe the UNSC employs Titans and Titan Pilots into it's military under a separate branch called the Mech Force. It's a Sci-Fi Stand in for the Air-Force. The IMC, a separate paramilitary organisation with it's own forces, ships and even planets were the first to engineer this class of Super Soldier. The Pilots are special forces operatives and are enhanced much like they are in the Titanfall universe, with increased speed, reflexes and dexterity, with a minor increase in strength, nothing like the Spartans are capable of though. The Titan Pilots were "created" with an emphasis on speed and manoeuvrability, and had the ability to scale walls and even run across them.

This started rumours that the Pilots are actually arachnid super-soldiers with powers related to the late vigilante Spider-Man, though no connection to arachnid DNA or even Oscorp has been found, suggesting that these are in fact just rumours.

Pilots operate there Titans mostly on the surface of terrestrial worlds but are sometimes posted to guard military space station alongside navy guards.

Pilots are specially trained to combat Cybertronians both with and without Titans.

BACKGROUND:

The Colony world of Thedus (Aliens, mentioned only and never seen) was a planet rich in minerals mined extensively by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation. It was on its return from Thedus that the Weyland-Yutani commercial hauler USCSS Nostromo discovered the derelict ship on LV-426. Unfortunately the planet came under attack by a Cybertronian raiding party in 2183, bearing the marks of the infamous Decepticons. The UNSC responded with all it could, despite being stretched thin by recent conflicts. By now the Geth had died down and retreated back beyond the veil after the attack on the Citadel, but the Covenant was pressing on and most of the UNSC's assets were on Reach. Still they responded with everything they had, and Titans were deployed and engaged with a 79% success rate; of the remaining 21%, 34% had the pilots escape with there lives to redeploy with another Titan. Titan Pilots had a 38% success rate of engaging Cybertronians without there Titans, and even then most of the time had help. The enemy was also met well enough with artillery, air strikes and heavy armour, but the outcome of the fight remains to be seen. This battle is significant in the Amalgamation history as it's the first time citizens of Cybertron have attacked a human colony. (to be continued with another image)

From what I can tell from playing Titanfall 1 & 2, the Pilots aren't enhanced in any way, it's their jump packs that allow them to move around like they do, as well as other pieces of gear like a pickaxe of sorts to cling to walls. However, to be considered to become a Pilot at all, you have to be the best of the best, so they're no push overs even outside of their Titans, although Titans and the like can still nuke Pilots pretty quickly. Do the Pilots have ME like Hardsuits with Kinetic Barriers and stuff? I'll just assume Hardsuits are standard issue for human military since the Alliance is amalgamated as it were into the UNSC. As long as the Pilots don't wear fingerless gloves, their suits could be Hardsuits already.

It's debated on whether or not they're enhanced, at the very least it's said that they have some cybernetic enhancements

but there's no way they could do the things that they do without being enhanced to some degree, that's not possible irl lol

In an Amalgamated universe though where super-soldiers are common, yeah, they're definitely augmented here haha

Is like Assassins Creed with a touch of Mass Effect! Really outstanding!    xDDDD

Titan Pilots are actually better at scaling walls and rooftops than Assassins, well they do it faster at least.

You ever play Titanfall?

Nope, didn't like the game or the sequel but I liked the concept!

Oh okay, I enjoyed the game a lot at first, the fast paced action was exciting but the game got boring after two months and I don't even know why lol

Well, if you ask me as a gamer I may say the idea and the concept was something great and overall like a mashup of Mirror's Edge and Mass effect, it was kinda cool but, the gameplay was kinda Call of Dutty / Battlefield more than a Mirror's Edge, the campaing was boring as hell and the multiplayer is kinda of camping to win, so yeah, pretty much that was a failure from part of EA in my opinion.

I agree with everything you said except for the camping part, I felt that Titanfall was EXCLUSIVELY a none camping game! It constantly encouraged you to move! It was also more fun. There wasn't any real camping hotspots either from what I played, I never got gunned down by campers and I actually tried once or twice in the beginning (don't judge me) and I was so bored just sitting there, I had to get out and run the walls!

I just felt that with the mechanics, the maps, and the way the entire game was setup was geared against campers imo

but everything else I agree with and it's probably why we all got bored

lack of story and shitty lore honestly, if they had of done something interesting, like a campaign with the two factions, then get invaded by aliens halfway through it that both sides had to fight or something, that'd have been fucking awesome and would have worked for the online campaign they were trying to do!

Even a regular offline campaign would have worked better!

You have pretty Mass Effect ideas in there!    xDDDD

Mass Effect? How so?

I'm talking about Titanfall's online campaign. It would have been much more interesting if in the middle of a game suddenly alien ships and mechs started showing up, more powerful then both the IMC and Militia, and then although both sides could still kill each other most players, hopefully, would decide to work together against the common threat which would be AI, but really powerful AI

It'd kinda work more like Halo's Warzone actually, but better. The AI would be more difficult

I guess so, you have a point there, I said this thing about Mass Effect because of the futuristic ambient!   xDDD

Oh okay

Well, Titanfall already had a futuristic ambient to it as well...

I am guessing these guys excel in low gravity environments but struggle under higher gravity ^^

Oh shit sorry, wrong image. Yeah they're low gravity units lol XD

Other way around, they're more for surface combat would be higher gravity.

Lower gravity is for space and space stations etc, right? I do have that right lol?

I am curious to see how they fair against Covenant forces as well as when the other foes such as the Flood and Reapers arrive as well.
