So after the Epsiode 64 of Brotherhood finally released (well it's already 1 week ago.) We knew that the second child of Ed and Winry is a girl. I was wondering before and now I know I was right, whee.

Well, anyway, I was thinking how they would look like in a few years (they're probably about 15/16 in that pic.) so this little piece was created. I wanted them to look different albeit similar to their parents. So I used the colors from the brotherhood anime to create it to make it look authentic (haha.)

I was thinking a lot about their hairstyles. Finally I decided for the girl to have pigtails (I love pigtails.) while remaining the bangs from the family picture (they're diverted differently than Winry's) and for the boy I took a long time thinking. Should I make his hair short or long? Finally I decided for something in between. I wanted his bangs to look different as well and made them shorter than Ed.

However, especially the boy looks like a splitting image of his father. Actually I was thinking to color his eyes blue. Or brown (like Trisha's) But then I decided to stick with gold.
I really would have liked for their hair color to be different. Like either a mixture of their parent's hair color or maybe the girl having those golden hair and the boy Winry's blond.

Oh well. It's a simple pic, I only wanted to draw them so I didn't bother with a background.

And I'd like to give them names...aww. Maybe the girl Erika and the boy Fred(erik)? *giggles* (I don't like this naming the children after dead people thing.)
