There are also artworks there that I have not posted here on DA.There are a bunch of butterflies that look like this one in the Northeast USA, but I am pretty sure this is an Aphrodite Fritillary Butterfly, Speyeria aphrodite. My fiance and I saw one when we were in Connecticut, Fall 2016 for my first GNSI exhibit, and he prompty took a photo of it. 2017's GNSI exhibit theme is "Wildlife from Highstead", Highstead being the amazing venue we have our annual exhibits! This is my entry.
Painting done in acrylic paint on 11x14 canvas board.
