Description
This is what I've been working on for the last 2 weeks.
It basically came to be because I needed to fill the empty wallspace by my bed
So I'm planning to print this out as soon as I get the time.
Inspired by princess mononoke, dinotopia, the longest journey and avatar (listening to the avatar soundtrack really helped the mood!) Creating the painting has been an adventure in it self, and I've painted, color adjusted, repainted, erased then painted again many many times, even twisted the painting in on it self.
I think I'm done now and satisfied, but who knows what I'll feel in a week or two... probably shouldn't print until then

That's really nifty, the details in each leaf! And sparkly magic forest flowers are good too. And what do I think? I might actually have an art related thing to say! There's negative space in the center, and the scale (even though i see the person for reference) doesn't have as much punch as it should. Dunno what to do about that! Perhaps the addition of another forest object to help with the scale. All in all, I looooove the colors and details, and think this is so fantastic!

I know what you mean and I agree. I'm thinking of making the background lighter, so it will appear farther away. Hmmm...
