Well done.
I like working in steel
or silver more then brass,
how about you?

Hmm...I don't know if I have a preferance...I really enjoy all of them. I've worked with steel the most though. I really can't say because I just adjust to their hardness and then enjoy it just as well as the others.

Your work is nice. What tool do you use?

Some home made chisels, graver's and a chasing hammer,
also some new hh steel graver bits from GRS tools and some
times there system 3 impact tool, I can use the same 3"x3/16"
graver and chisel bits I use all the time, but in the system 3 hand piece
its like having a hammer and chisel in one hand. It's not a rotary tool.

Hey GRS huh? I live in Emporia, KS (where Gleno and GRS are located and originated) That's how I got into the whole engraving arts! Awesome stuff!

Cool-ness,
I wish we lived there, I would be going to there engraving classes.
Your a lucky person Ashton.
I hope one day we can go there for a tour of the facility.
Blessings

Yeah definitely! I am actually taking an intermediate course there in the middle of may. I'm really excited. It goes from 8-5 M-F. It sounds more like engraving camp! You should really look into coming here to take a class. The facility is AMAZING! You'd love it. Well, best of luck to you! And thanks for all the insights! Cheers

Ashton

Just beautiful! Only the very very very slightest bit asymmetrical, but simply fantastic!
