I lifted my head, dizzily to the sound of buzzing. As I forced my eyelids that felt like paper weights, up I recognised where I was. The Hospital. There were so many questions going around my head already: How did I get here? Why am I here? And who is that person, walking steadily towards me with a needle in their hand? They looked like someone who worked here, but I had a feeling that they didn't at the same time. Maybe it was because they had clotted blood on their apron, or it was because they were mumbling to themselves, rather loudly, in what sounded like an unknown language to man. As they got closer, I worked out that they were a woman, with dirty blonde, or was it brown hair? It wasn't helpful that the lights were off, otherwise I would have seen her, and recognised that she wasn't an ordinary nurse. But I was too late. As I stared to panic, she plunged the needle into my neck, and injected me with a purple-coloured liquid.

As I opened my eyes I was staring up at a ceiling I found familiar. I glanced around, checking that this wasn't a vision, and that the 'nurse' wasn't here. I jumped out of my skin, when I looked to my right, and there was a face staring right at me. "Daryl, your late for work again darling" said the figure.
"Who are you, and how do you know my name?" I cried, in a demanding way.
"Daryl? Are you becoming crazy? You have been acting weird for the past few days." They questioned.
"Just tell me your name, and then the pain will be over in a few seconds" I screamed, reaching for my phone
"Goodness Daryl, you are over-reacting. I'm your wife, Chloe" they explained.
"Are you SURE your Chloe?" I asked stupidly.
"Yes, I'm sure who I am" she sighed
"Don't do that to me again, you nearly gave me a freaking heart attack!"
"Yes, you have obviously turned insane, I shall have to do something about it soon"
"You don't know what I'm going through..." I whined. As Chloe walked out of the bedroom door, I muttered an, "idiot"

As I was getting dressed for work, I heard a voice in my head. It was the voice of the 'nurse' that featured in my dream. It was obviously important, because I had already forgotten the rest of the dream. I solemnly promised myself that I was going to do some research on it, after the drag of work.
