Argos collapsed,unable to go any further.
They had been traveling non-stop for the entire night.
The Nord crouched down to the Altmer,bemused smile on her face,accompanied by a concerned glimmer in her eyes.
She effortlessly picked him up,as a husband would his bride on their marriage day,and continued on her way.
"Seriously,you need to tell me when your tired."she chided.
The Thalmor glared at her,but didn't have the energy to make it look more threatening than a soaked kitten.
"You...arn't human."he muttered.
She chuckled lightly,the low rumble was such a pleasing sound to the Altmer.
Like the low rumble of thunder,something he'd always fall asleep to.
Argos shook his head.
'No!'he thought angrily.'I should NOT be thinking these things!She's vile,revolting,and ill-educated!'
"Is that so,little high elf?"
Her question launched him out of his thoughts.
"Wha-"
She set him down,then stood infront of him,arms crossed.
"Am I truely vile,revolting,and ill-educated? Though you have yet to know me for long,you shall judge me? Would that not make you ignorant,arrogant,and ill-educated? More so than you believe me to be?" she asked,eyes seemingly peering into his very soul.
He was struck silent,and could only grunt in response,but in reality,was confused.
He did not say that outloud,did he?
"You do not answer because you know what I say is true."
This time,he glared up at her,malice clear in his eyes.
She only smirked at this,and picked him back up to continue on their way.
He stayed silent for most of the trip,and acctually fell asleep afew times,only to be woken up by the sound of Morgan killing whatever beast that was either unfortunate or stupid enough to get in her way.
"We're almost there,Argos."she informed after some time.
Almost where?
Then,he saw it.
The outline of a large city in the horizon.
"Whiterun.Home."
