I've been working on this for about two weeks; sad, I know. I had the horse all cut out and pretty-fied, but I could not find a background I really liked for him. In the end, I settled on definitely going with something that had both water and forests.

Basic cut out on the horse, painting in some more mane and a full tail. Plopped on the background when I finally fount it. Expanded the height of the image and added in a new sky, just for a better look. Fixed the hooves in the water, added some droplets, added reflection and shadow. Added some ripples and junk to the water where he was walking. Adjsuted overall colors, etc.
