Update 21/04/19

Corrected the image colour and gamma so that it looks better on most screens.
As a result the end product will look as it's intended to you all; the audience, while looking darker on my screen.
I've found somewhat of a work-around in Photoshop CS5 that has allowed me to make the image as I intend it to be.
It's not going to look exactly as it's supposed to look to you all as it does on my end, but it's a much better improvement from before.
It's also important to remember that most screens are different and so it will look different to everyone.
If the image has very dark 'blacks' and is heavily contrasted, then your screen is very similar to mine, and what you are seeing is my attempt at making the image appear as its truer self to the majority of people who have better colour corrected screens.
So people running on macs, newer pcs and iphones should see the image very close to what it is intended to look like.
If you notice a significant change on your side let me know, it will help a lot with resolving the issue.

More artwork from me, because i now have more free time... thank the stars. This one was supposed to be posted earlier in the month, but its completion got delayed due to my work getting in the way. Those of you who have been followers of me since my beginnings here on DA may recognize the name of this piece and the architecture. It's an updated version of a very old work of mine, the first and original "Spire", which can be found here: fav.me/d4f9xms . I renamed the original to "Spire (Old)" for the sake of the update not having a weird name.

The reason for the update is that I took a stroll down memory lane; by going through my artwork over the years. While the feeling of nostalgia was nice, the feeling of "was my artwork really this bad? :/ " was a little more pronounced. I felt that I should pay homage to my older artworks by giving them a fresh new look, more in line with my newer style and artworks. Instead of replacing the original deviation with the updated one, I decided to make the update and post it separately as i did here. At least that way I or anyone else can always go take a look at it and compare the two versions.

For the update I decided to tone done the purple and pinks a bit, so that it looks a bit more 'natural'? I also made the rings much more prominent as they were originally supposed to be, since they are supposed to be the center of focus in the image. I increased the darkness of the background to help the 'system' as i call it, stand out more and make the image look more 'dramatic'. Plus of course everything is brought into a more modern and refined style with a lot more realism placed onto the planets and moons themselves.
