This is one of the sketches I made in my Moleskine and never uploaded for some reason. I drew this for my friend cause she said I should draw Layton x Claire fanart.I sorta tried to imitate the style of the characters from the game, so some stuff is a bit awkward. Also, I experimented with foreshortening a bit with their legs to make it look like they're walking (semi-successfully :/ ). I drew Layton without reference, but I used a bunch of reference for Claire. Also, I don't know how to draw holding hands. Aderp.
Anyway, critique is always appreciated. If I ever finish this drawing, I'll upload and stuff.

I was browsing PL crossovers on fanfiction.net the other day, and one of them centered on an OC, Layton's daughter, rather than Layton himself. I didn't read it, because I generally dislike OCs with relations to canon characters, and the fandom it crossed with wasn't one I was too familiar with, but one thing I did like about her was her name. Rosalina Claire Layton.
As soon as I saw that was her name I sadfaced. I could totally imagine Layton naming his daughter after Claire, if he ever had a daughter.
