Description I wanted to do a sort of contrast to the 'Dwelling' doodle, but it didn't come out quite as expected. Ah well.Β

The training I was stressing over is finally done with! This was a heck of a long week. I look forward to some sleep tonight.

Poor lil' rabbit. I guess he/she won't make it through the night. There is very much blood and the distance is not this big.

I think he'll be fine for a while. Maybe I did get a little too liberal with the blood, huh.

Maybe, but just maybe

So much emotion! I love the subtly of the whole composition, especially the streaks of blood throughout the snow. Poor lil' rabbit thoughΒ Β I hope he/she makes it through the night . . .

Totally off topic, but which program do you use? I wanna say either photoshop elements or Sai, based on the brush strokes, but I can't be sure.Β

Thank you! The bunny will be fine. I save the whole death thing for OCs.

I use Photoshop Elements for 99 percent of everything (the 1% is MS Pant). I use the most basic of basic brushes, so I guess they would be easy to recognize.Β

Oh, good

I thought I recognized the snow brush strokes Sweet, I use Elements for a fair amount of my art, too, but most of my stuff is done with Sai.Β

Ooo, I've never used Sai before. I don't have access to such a program, so I just make do with Elements.Β

Yah, I was like that for a while, too. I only used Elements since it came with my digital tablet. Although elements is a sweet program, I especially love using the wet media brushes and the animation program.Β

However, if you ever get a hankering for Sai, you should definitely check it out. I think it's about $45 -50 total, and worth the money. It's just a downloadable program, and once you buy it it's yours forever

That sounds like something I'd like to try. I heard Gimp wasn't so bad either.

Yah, Gimp is nice, too, and free But I will say that Sai, as a whole, is a more fluid and useful program.

It's definitely something I plan on working up to one day. Elements is nice and all, but it would pay off to have more artistic options.

You should read a few Elements' tutorials on DeviantART or online, it really helps add to the experience and aids the artistic process. Or you can just screw around with different Elements' buttons and brushes until you've figured things out
