Description This is a pencil drawing I've been working on between paintings. I haven't drawn anything in pencil for quite some time. I forgot how much I love to draw with pencils and erasers.

The truth is, I've only been painting for a little over a year, but I've been drawing in pencils for over fifteen years.

I used my giant artist anatomy book I got two years ago. Its far from true anatomy but I tried. looking through my anatomy book make me feel kind of naughty.

Now I can concentrate on my next painting.

Thank you so much for the wonderful complement!
I had a "friend" that once told me that, "drawing in pencil wasn't true art" (she's a painter).
Seeing your artwork and many others on deviantart truly proves her WRONG!

i disagree with your friend,any true painter
will admit pencil is the basic of any art
medium i just think sometimes some artists may not
be as strong in one medium and put down the one they can't
do, i love both, but pencil has a special place in my heart always
