Beautiful image. I like the way you get the rose in focus.

All of the holidays are designed that way it seems.. I love actually looking back at the history of certain holidays.. things we think have been the tradition forever are not necessarily so.. Just pull em close and kiss the lips.. don't cost a penny!

this is stunning! the only "critique" I can give is. I wish it was taken in a bigger if not the largest ratio format. I see that it's 4000x3000 which is good and I am assuming the largest? However, I can't view it that large. So submitting it full size might not have been a bad idea! Then perhaps a macro setting if you have one so when someone full views it, then can really get in there and see the detail of the rose. This is a stunning photo as is. However, with someone wilted, along with your title, you want to project that rose as "dying love" (if that makes sense). Don't be afraid to be dramatic in your photos, express yourself. I think the title is perfect for this photo be it your pro or anti-valentine's day. It fits, beautifully. Very very well done! I hope I didn't offend you with the advice I gave, just never be afraid to try different things and settings! Get right up in thurr!
