hmm for some reason i feel like color in this photo would make it better...but i'm not thinking full-on color, take the saturation down quite a bit so it's faded...just enough that you can tell there is color but it's not too bright or vivid? just a thought i suppose. would be fun to play with in photoshop :]

Hm, I'll try that out, thanks! Though I really really like b/w squares

yeah just a suggestion...for some reason i feel like it might look nice...i actually save artists photos sometimes and tweak them on my own time...never re-post of course (unless i have their consent) but idk, it's just kind of fun to see a good photo and say: "hey, i think it might look better this way..." and then go do it and see for yourself. sometimes it really enhances the work, other times it doesn't do much at all....

Right, last September I was for 4 weeks in SF, LA, Yosemite NP, Joshua Tree NP, Las Vegas, Page, Grand Canyon,... Just not enough time to enjoy it fully Too much to see, and it was beautiful!

And what an awesome approach it is. This is probably the best I have seen yet - good job on the toning and contrast. Excellent use of the black and white spectrum.
