Great composition! I love the Oslo Opera, I think it's one of the most inspiring buildings I've ever visited.

Oh this is wonderful, Hanne - such a great title, too, that fits it so well - the silence of a closed door, the emptiness and silence of the sky from here to the horizon - really nice shot.

The opera himself, wonderful Hanne !!

the opera, yes. as i also have seen in your gallery, if i remember correct? glad you like this image, though it is not a spectacular "portrait".

you say, "himself", i do not think of the operahouse in terms of a male identity - but if you say so...

Oh sorry, the Oslo Opera "herself" of course ...

yes, i think so. thank you
i found it interesting that this visual expression of silence, captured at the roof of the opera-house, corresponds with (part of)the title of a ballet currently danced in the same house.

It sure makes you wonder! I even start to think about winter in Russia...many months of silence and nothing but white fields.

This is very nordic and cool. And it has a lot of secret messages in braille - wonderful !

Ein Vorbote des Winters, vielleicht

Braille! LΓΊcia and Paula had the same association. But from what I have found it seems that the patterns are based on old weaving techniques > [link]

thanks, my friend
