Description
I've always wanted to paint a story of what happens when you play with old magic, musty grimoires and scary summoning spells. So this is my take on that old fantasy staple. Painted over couple of weeks in Photoshop. I've stopped counting the hours when it became obvious that I am drowning in details.

It's a delight to see some fantasy art that goes beyond the imagery of monsters, dragons, armour and magic. This scene actually feels pretty intimate, as opposed to epic.
