Well, Laffitte did change a little! I guess I'm glad he didn't have any major changes. I wouldn't mind if Shiliew looked more different though : P He should have grown a beard!

Yes I had to be quick I'm doing this inktober challenge daily anyway so drawing Laffitte was an obvious choice. And yes omg, I really want to see Catarina too!

Oh I will definitely be doing some Alvida fan art too, that is one sassy hat. She looks fantastic, but I need me a whole body shot.  NEED it. Oda had better be giving Buggy's crew a little bit more page time ...that BARELY counted as a reintroduction! Mohji and Cabaji whatever, (though Cabaji is also rocking a fancy hat) but Alvida and Mr. 3 need some proper page time. Seriously, Alvida has made my whole day. (I just polished off a glass of wine in celebration, got my tiny Alvida figure chilling with me.)

I really wish One Piece could have stopped being all about Mugiwara crew and focused on other pirate crews instead haha. I WISH we cold see more of Buggy & Co too.

Whats great about OP its huge collection of fabulous characters, but the drawback is that there are so many characters other than the Mugiwaras, they'll either fall through the cracks or go unattended for years because well, the story is about the Mugiwaras. They can't ALL have page time.
Honestly I would love a filler chapter just to see what's up with Buggy's crew, or a check in with Blackbeard's crew, hell, maybe even what's going down at Navy HQ with Coby and Helpmeppo. There's way more I'd love to see, that's just off the top of my head.

One of my biggest complaints about Dressrosa which I'm sure you've heard echoed is that there were just too many great characters, there wasn't nearly enough fleshing out of them all. The Donquioxte Family is a collection of some of the oddest misfits we've seen to date, and yet we could barely get much context for them and who they were and what their relationships to each other were. A big loss, as they were a great bunch of villains...but there just wasn't time for them all. Honestly, I was more interested in them than I was Zoro and Franky doing their usual Zoro and Franky stuff that I can see any day.

Sorry, I went off on a tangent. I'm super excited to see if you'll be doing OP stuff for Inktober. Hope you do Alvida! (if not that's okay...)

Dressrosa had incredible potential to easily be the best arc of OP...and yet seemingly obvious things that kept throwing it off. Like, stuff Oda could have very easily done, and yet he went random other directions with. I mean, there was stuff I loved, but stuff that could have very easily been done differently that would have sent the arc through the roof. I'm still bitching with my friends about the lack of any real closure with Doffy+Cora+Law bungled in the finale and demanding that Dellinger make another appearance.

(Well if it's One Piece porn and its crack then obviously I'll have to see it...seeing Cabaji and Alvida wearing nearly matching hats sent me back to my days as a VERY young fanfic writer shipping away horrific amount of crack about them.)

Well, I don't think a pairing can be considered "crack" if two people are in the same crew : P
And the pairing that I'm talking about in regards to porn is now not crack at all XD It's almost canon in terms of One Piece shipping XD

You if that's close enough to be canon, maybe my dumb teenage fanfiction author self was not too far off writing Alvida/Cabaji. Oh it hurts to think about.

Anyway, I love your art of Lafitte, I have a soft spot for him. I'm sure you're overjoyed to see him, hope that means a fabulous surge of Blackbeard pirates art from you.

LMAO Tsuru and Doflamingo was the #1 crack ship of the fandom since Shichibukai meeting days. I'm so glad it still lives on and I fully support it but I'm afraid I don't want to do porn for that ;D
