Seems like I can't quit those two because I simply love seeing them together. Such an unlikely couple but somehow I think it would Β work. James is exactly what Miranda needs...
Also, I was finally able to combine two XPS models together!!! Yay! 
Unfortunately though, I can't even share this model because there's something very wrong with the neck and I haven't had the chance to clean up all the useless bones. Maybe next time... And I would just like to add that placing and rotating fingers is a pain in the butt!

Don't you think James is a little too, say, uneducated to be loved by the overly intelligent Miri? Just a thought that crossed my mind...

In a sense, you're totally right. Β James pretty much represents the blue collar class and there's nothing refined or fancy about him, that's for sure.
But I do believe that he and Miri have at least one thing in common (an absent father) and I also believe that Miri really needs someone who can ground her and keep it real for her. Besides, I've always felt that James is smarter than he may look. 
There's a fantastic fanfiction called "Beautiful Flirtations" that perfectly illustrates what I'm trying to explain. I think it's probably the main reason why I ship those two so hard.

Sorry I was so incoherent but man it really is just the sweetest pic. I find renders so often have weird-looking or somewhat plastic-looking expressions or odd posing so when one just nails it it's so great.
God knows Miranda could use some contentment in her life, and James too of course, and imagining the steps it would take them to get to this point... <3
