"...a pale, anorexic young woman who had hair as short as a fuse, and a pierced nose and eyebrows. She had a wasp tattoo about an inch long on her neck, a tattooed loop around the biceps of her left arm and another around her left ankle. On those occasions when she had been wearing a tank top, a dragon tattoo can be seen on her left shoulder blade."Portrait of Lisbeth Salander - a personal work and the first time I've ever drawn her. I'm really looking forward to David Fincher's upcoming The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, he is one of my favorite filmmakers. Many hours in Adobe Photoshop, used some refs of Rooney Mara.

Rooney Mara and Noomi Rapace were BOTH the BEST Chracterizations of Lisbeth Salander. NO OTHER ACTRESS on either side of the Atlantic could have done Her.

Rooney definitely matched my personal image of Lisbeth, but in the end I loved both portrayals from her and Noomi. I do have to applaud Fincher's version because I feel it stuck closer to the book more than the Swedish, but that doesn't mean I love the Swedish version any less.

Loved this movie- but I am torn between the actresses as who played the better Lisbeth, they both brought powerful qualities to their roles.
HATED the actual dragon tattoo in the American version...it was super dull.

This is by far the best artwork based on Millenium Trilogy I've seen. And trust me, I've been looking very long for anything that could at least come close, and - nada. I'm amazed with your taste, your techniques, your colouring and your choice of subjects. Keep up the great work!

If you like "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", you should really watch the swedish version of it! It's 1000x better, and the swedish Lisbeth Salander is muuuch cooler
