Description
This was another design that was commissioned. Again completely handmade and beaded with swarovski crystal.This was a very intricated crown where I had to loop wire and puzzle it together to create a greater effect.

This is really beautiful! I've finally got a 60cm elf on his way to me and I've been shopping for stuff for him so that he's only naked for a minute after I get him out of his box.

what kind of wire do you use, thickness and such and how do you bend it? o_O

I have nickel-plated copper wire(half hard) and gold-filled wire (hard). The Nickel wires are 20-24 gauge and the gold is 20 gauge. Most of it I bent with my fingers, but the for closer spirals I used rounded-needle nose wire tools.

The start of it was when I made a full-size headdress for Celesse. And when she came up for a visit in June, I saw just how gorgeous her dolls were in person and the idea came to make her some headdresses for them.
It was mainly something I just picked up as a challenge, so I learned about ways to make them on my own. XD
