Description
For Legends of the Cryptids. This was all sorts of fun. Her story is that she's an evil artist who makes her works out of living people by basically torturing them to death and then turning them into sculptures, frozen in agony.I'm taking some larger liberties with stylization recently but I've been enjoying it so far. Can't always do realism.

While I do enjoy a bit of stylisation, I'm not so sure it works on this particular picture. I guess your colouring being very realistic by itself, and the rest of the piece looking absolutely plausible, her proportions don't really fit. It's a gorgeous picture otherwise, and I'm curious to see more stylistic experimentations from you! You'll end up finding the right balance.

It's pretty BUT her body is just a little too elongated and her head too small. I like your work but i feel like this would be much better with more realistic proportions (especially the head is just really small in comparison to the rest of her body and it's not just because of perspective).

well, honestly i think you should have gone with more realistic proportions in this one.
Your execution is great, of course. It's just that the idea behind the image and background story is something serious, yet the character is basically a caricature. Besides, nothing else seems that exaggerated, so it's like having a simpsons character walking around in a world war 2 movie.
