A big assignment recently for my Color Theory class based on Watership Down! This took about a week straight to make, and was a ton of fun!

The purpose of the assignment was to design a board game based on a theme, using only a 3 color palette (with variations of said colors, which were randomly picked from a hat) and with those create the illusion of depth amongst a few other requirements. We could do it in any medium, but I decided to do it in traditionally because it's out of my comfort zone. I'm glad I did because it made it a lot more enjoyable, even if a lot rougher. But I think that kinda adds to it? I mean there's plenty of obvious mistakes, but I think overall it worked well for the time limit.

The game is not physically playable since there isn't a full set of cards and the spinner doesn't spin, but it wasn't meant to be: it was purely aesthetic. I have all the rules and strategies made up if it could be actually playable, though. Essentially the game would play as a “Race to the End” type game; whoever makes it to the down first wins. Players are given three “Black Rabbit” cards to begin and may use them to “cheat death” should they get an Elil card that kills them. If they use up all their cards and die they have to return to start. It is a mixture of strategy and luck as you don’t know what card you will get (some Elil cards will also give you additional Black Rabbit cards) but you have multiple paths to choose which way you want to go, and theoretically you could also move backward.

The movable pieces would probably be vertical if it were playable but we weren't allowed to go above 1 inch tall for our objects due to storing issues, so I had to make them flat. >:c
I think my favorite part is the section for Efrafa. Not sure why, I just really like that area.
Also thanks to StupidShepherd for helping me cut out all those tiny path stickers!

Anyway, had a lot of fun with this! Not perfect in the least, but definitely proud of it! I am enjoying this class quite a bit
