I've recently picked up a B+W ND 110 filter to obtain longer exposures during the day. It's a beast and knocks out 10 stops which is crazy, can't wait to play with it more.This was shot on a cold afternoon at South Arm with a 2 minute exposure at f.20

Going back to your photo I think its just insanely beautiful. Its so soft and inviting with contrasting tones that make it feel so cold.

You know, I'm wondering.. I'd hazard a guess that you don't live off your earnings from photography itself. I mean you're good, but who isn't? So what job do you do that affords you the opportunity to travel around the sea everywhere?

Heh no offence taken. I'm fortunate to live in a diverse and small state which has a lot on offer, this being around 40 minutes from home. A lot of places however are weather dependent, this particular spot probably only gets decent swell a couple of times in the year and it would otherwise be flat with zero movement normally. So I guess it's making the most of what you've got really.
