Description Gueniver, Gwenhyvar... there are many spellings.
It is said she was a princess from an irish warrior-tribe, and a fine fighter herself, leading battles side by side with her husband, King Arthur. I honestly prefere this version of the story much more than the version transcribed by the monks...

I guess it depends on the language really, each seems to have established its own spelling of this particular name

Yes, i think you're right. I am a writer, so I look up all sorts of names and the different ways of spelling them. I couldn't believe I hadn't seen this spelled this way before. Awesome work!

I have found Bulgarian names to be pretty cool, mostly because they don't appear in any other language and they sound very... authentic and yet as if coming out of a story book
