I swear, this gal’s gonna go far. Not only she has the most AWESOME name of the whole cast, but also, mere hours after the episode aired, she already had both fanart and fanfiction about her, and now I’m adding my contribution to her (literal) birthday shrine. Besides, we all know she’s gonna be the most important character in the story by the end of it.

I heard something from a youtube commentor (an immediate red flag in terms of how this can be trusted) that Velvet was gonna die and that it was confirmed from her voice actor.
Is there any truth to this rumor, and if so, are there any sources that prove it?

That conflict with her kind in RWBY and how she was mistreated reminded me of the Daein conflict in Fire Emblem, Path of Radiance. The Daein people were forcefully treating the Animal people known as the Laguz like total racists, and the Laguz teamed up with Ike and his army to try and put an end to their bigotry, but in a way, it made the Laguz look even worse due to them trying to gain their equal treatment by force. Just like what happened with the White Fang in RWBY.

I agree with that I don't think she'll be the most important character but I'd say she'll give Ruby a run for her money in being the cutest one. Something about the bunny ears...
Plus with her animal ears and human ears it's adding more traction to the theory that Blake is hiding a pair of cat ears under that bow of hers.
