I really love the episodes with the wolf/buck. The art is so lovely. And yes, the buck is bout to go buck-wild on death if he kills anymore. However, if it is a broken strain, wouldn't it just be destroyed and taken back into the cancerous mass?...

I checked the website and still don't get the story. The gleeful masked men, the mononoke deer, the format (webcomic? teasers for a physical print?) The pages I've read don't seem to form a storyline, it's more like snippets of scattered events.

Seems like the wolf represents natures fury and the deer, natures calm and beauty. At the end there it looks like a nature vs machine sort of battle, prehaps symbolism for something?
