for those of you saying he 'looks too young,'in this enty, I recall in one RA comic, the one with the straw psychopath, He said "Twenty years ago, when I was just a little laddie," And in the panel below he looked no older than 8 or 9, meaning captain could be anywhere between the ages of 24-29 or so. So, therefore, it is very possible that he could look this young. Because if he was older, he would've said it was longer ago.
