Thank God this contest came around, I needed an excuse to fangirl with my childhood love
My Entry for the Sherlock and I contest at #sherlock-holmes .
Hot on the trail of a deranged French serial murderer, Holmes and his newly-found companion, Alexandra (it's me, geddit), search the damp and dangerous Paris catacombs.
Sherlock was too much fun to design, and of course the skulls are all my little friends. <3

This artwork was my 1st pick. When I looked into Your gallery it just appeared - right into my eyes. It is wonderful eyecatcher - great composition, wonderful coloring and light, and storytelling that makes the viewer imagine what is it all about. I love it!

The details and the clothes and the skulls and the expressions and the colours and the lighting and the writing on the side and the EVERYTHING! I especially love the way you have a lady character who Holmes respects and who can keep up with him and is clever and tough in her own right. And her hair! Her hair is gorgeous!
Every time I look at this I find something else that's amazing about it! I should probably stop now or I'll overload your inbox with gushing over how stupendous this is. Oops.

I love her eyes! And her expression! She's looks so "Dark, creepy catacombs? I've got this." And her clothes are lovely
I've also become completely intrigued by that old-looking piece of paper. It looks like a really awesome treasure map or something! And I really do love the lighting. It's downright gorgeous! Sort of warm and mysterious at the same time.
And Holmes looks almost exactly like I imagined him! That pretty much never happens! And he looks like he's having a ball!
And I really do love that hair style on her.
Once again, this is absolutely brilliant!

Sooooo I LOOOVE this!!! the details of the catacomb just AMAZES me! THe posing is wonderful, I love the expressions too, yours is SO precious with the whole "I got this." look hehehe! And Sherlock's just his same old charming self tehhehe
the shadowing is WONDERFUL and the whole piece has the gloomy, damp, catacomb feel!
