The wall seems higher than ever, but still there is a light beyond every end. Besides this one there's a house guarded by lions....And I guess that, my dear friend, you got to see it much sooner than expected.You will be definitely be missed round here. Hope you'll be watching over those that have cared for you in this lifetime.

The emotion that this brings.... a feeling of a "light at the end of the tunnel" definitely fits.
I enjoy the composition and how everything is laid out... from the puddle of water that leads your vision to the end of the alleyway and to the buildings behind the wall... and the contrast of colors... a cool in the foreground to the warm yellows in the background.
This is a very well done piece... and this has given me some ideas to play with in the coming weeks... It's great to have a piece that everyone likes, it becomes even better when it inspires as well.

This is a powerful photo for many reasons. This sort of subject is almost always done in sombre tones. The orange tones and the blast of sunlight on the righthand wall are an unexpected treat, while the glowing reflection in the foreground pool ties the shadowy alleyway to the glowing world beyond. The more I look at this photo the better I like it.

I really love the colours and light. There are so many details and contrasts between the alley and the houses in the background. The photo just reveals something new each time I look at it.
