Thank you for taking the time to type that critique. I'm not so sure the model will like to be compared of a pregnant woman
I'm quite disappointed by your words because that photo was totally spontaneous before the "real" photo, so it's not simulated at all! The water was about 14°C and she was dying of the coldness. I took that photo just when she was starting to lie underwater, and it was really hard for her. But anyway, it's true we don't care of my explanations because only the result matters! I was so proud of that photo but I'm starting to feel really sad about it

I really like this one..the critique mentioned that the model's facial expression is a bit tense (considering the conditions, no wonder), but that's what intrigued
me about this photograph and in my opinion, added to the feel of it,since the title
is "too young to die" it makes it seem as if she is struggling to stay afloat and
not be pulled down...the detail of her right arms being completely immersed in water and covered by shadow, plus the subtle, subdued hues make it seem as if she is being
slowly dragged down...personally, the more I look at it, the more I like it..a big thumbs up for both you and the model, this was done exceptionally well..

I know there was comments above about how there is stiffness in her face, but I like it! I know the title makes it seem as though she is already dead, but that's just an assumption. It's as though she is weak, sinking, but struggling to keep her head above water to stay alive, to take just one more breath - too young to die is what she keeps telling herself. Good work!
