Everyone falls back on He-3 as a reason for lunar industry/settlement. It's as good a reason as any, I suppose. But there's no way we're putting He-3 in the first operational reactor. We'll need to be comfortable working in the D-T regime before we can build reactors that will need industrial quantities of He-3.
