My Danosaur

Phil was cackling from his place on Dan's bed as he watched his said friend struggle out of the green dinosaur suit. "Need help there Dan?" he chuckled.

Dan shot him a dirty look and wiggled out of the costume and managed to get his arms free, ripped the buttons open, shoved the suit down his legs, and kicked it off; or more like flailed his right leg to get it off of him.

"That was disastrous!" Dan exclaimed. "There's cereal all over the floor and my walls!"

"I had fun," Phil shrugged.

"Yea, with shooting bits of cereal at me at a shotgun speed!" Dan growled. He rubbed at his face that was dry and itchy with the cereal dust. "But that was interesting."

"Nothing broken, right?" Phil mused as he took in the damage of Dan's room and the light bruises on Dan's knees.

"My dignity," Dan pouted.

Phil laughed. "I don't believe you have any of that left," he pointed out. He couldn't lie, Dan did still look adorable with his pout and red cheeks from laughing at his failed attempts to catch the cereal with his mouth. "Come here," Phil smiled, opening his arms for Dan to wander into.

"My room-"

"We'll clean it later," Phil promised. He beckoned Dan closer and smiled happily when Dan sighed and curled into his hold. "I thought you did a good job," Phil praised, nuzzling the top of Dan's head, burying his face in the fluffy dark hair.

Dan snorted at that. "I probably pissed off the people below us."

"I'm sure that's not new," Phil replied cheekily, a glint in his eyes.

Dan laughed. "I cannot believe YOU just said that!"

"What? I can be bluntly honest when I want!" Phil protested. He wrapped his arms tighter around Dan and smiled. "I'll admit, you were stupidly adorable in that costume."

"Gee thanks," Dan scoffed.

"Oh, oh! Can we use them for Halloween?" Phil pleaded, unleashing the puppy look. "I'll be your Phillion!"

"Seriously?"

Phil ignored the annoyed groan. "And you'll be my Danosaur!"
