Description
More fanart of The Host by Stephenie Meyer. This time I give you my interpretation of the Seeker. My actress of choice for this role is Christina Ricci, I know this doesn't look like her much, but I had to turn her in the character somehow... Her skin is supposed to be olive toned and I couldn't really imagine it so I used a skin color palette that could be found here [link]The Seeker's eyes by description are "dark and full of venom" soooo I drew them almost black but added some green flecks to make her meaner
I didn't use ref for the jacket, so that's imagination mostly.
Maybe I should've worked a little more on this piece, but at some point by the end I lost patience with it.

I love this! Christina is my favorite for The Seeker and this haircut is just how I imagined it - and her eyes are wonderfully angry and scary (and full of venom). The gun pointed straight at the viewer is marvelous.
I wonder if you'd be interested in uploading this and your other (wonderful) The Host art to The Host Fan Gallery [link] ? We're trying to collect the best The Host fanart on the net and already have more than 350 pieces. It's very easy to create an account (easier than dA even) and upload this and any of your future The Host work, but if you'd rather not do that, I can upload it for you and just credit your dA account in the information that appears under the image. Sure, no problem. It's just so many people think of him as Jared and used him (including that picture you used as reference) in fanart that I think of him more as Jared than I do Jensen these days.

Well, she's described like this:
"Her hair was black, too. It grew to her chin and was pushed back behind her ears. Her skin was darker than the Healer's.
Olive toned."
But then I found this ref pic and loved it although her hair isn't behind her ears...
Oh, of course she is with shiny eyes, that was the whole point of painting this in the first place... If you look more closely you'd see that I made her eyes black and green-flecked and the silver...halos... around the pupils are clearly visible. Hmmm, maybe I should enlarge the pic size... It's 800px wide right now...

LOTR was something MAJOR, ALL my classmates, me included, were CRAZY about it. I'm pretty sure this is the first and last 1300page book they'll ever read lol
Fictional stuff... you mean fantasy, right? If so, I can't say I like fantasy, I mean I liked LOTR but hated Harry Poter
But I can definitely say that I love science fiction, like The Matrix, Independence Day and Contact are some of my fave movies of ALL time... AVATAR too, but you know about that

asleep. They were like "It's so awesome!" I just laughed. But the books are
