I have to massively (yet still respectfully) disagree with you. I love how Lisa looks without her glasses in the show. It's adorable and she looks like a Peanuts character, and considering this show's comic strip homage, I think it works in the show's benefit due to that.

That she certainly does, but I'm not sure that one reference in the few scenes where she's not bespectacled are worth the inconsistency in style. Makes her look like she doesn't belong.

It makes sense considering how big her glasses are. From an art perspective, I see the logical reason they went that route. I'm betting Clyde's eyes would be a similar deal due to his glasses.
