PRINTS AVAILABLE HERE: [link] Yes, I know, I'm a nerd. This drawing was made nine months ago and now, at the end of a long pregnancy, I decided to publish it. It's my version of Smaug the Terrible, and in my head he has always been like that, since the first time I read The Hobbit. I do not doubt that Peter Jackson's version in The Desolation of Smaug will be much, much better than mine.

Apart from the face, you've copied everything about this dragon from another artist from the Enchanted series by Time Life Books.
I also don't think it is very fair of you to be selling prints when this isn't actually your work so I have to report you.

Jackson's cast... well, Bilbo is just PERFECTION in my opinion, and I literally grow up with Tolkien's world so it is important to me. And I'm not easy to please! (not entirely true)

I totally agree with you, Freeman is a wonderful actor. The first time I saw him was in Love Actually, and after a few years in a wonderful movie called Nightwatching, in which he played the part of Rembrandt, the famous painter. He is extraordinary talented, very eclectic and absolutely perfect to play Bilbo. And McKellen is a Shakespearean actor, a real genius of the stage... how can we not love him?
I think Jackson has really done justice to every single word written by Tolkien.

I think Jackson did the best that could be done with the Middle Earth in cinematography.
And, I will spontaneously say that even when I appreciate part of the extensive work of Rodriguez, I have the feeling that the small inconsistencies founded on An Unexpected Journey are -partially? His work (when is not because of the "we need to use this effect" thing -the rocky giants boxing? Really?)
