Description
Big crystals created a wonderful frozen flower on a small wig during January evening. This time I decided to upload something I photograph rather rarelly, I hope you will like my trip in the wold of macro

This is an extremely imaginative and original shot. While I find a lot of macro work is, at least to me, aesthetically pleasing but basically boring, this keeps the beauty found in macro but adds a quite unexpected and visually stunning element - the flower illusion is a fantastic juxtaposition of winter elements and summer imagery.
I did give the shot 4.5 instead of 5 stars on technique only because I think it could have been cropped just a little more tightly (but not too tight!). The out of focus area in front is large enough to be a bit distracting, but that could be fixed simply with a slight repositioning.
