"The skies above Egypt are wide and hot during the day, and profoundly spectacular at night.
In a modern world of electric-washed skies, it is difficult to imagine the reigning majesty of such a sky overhead.
NuitΒ΄s body is the pathway of the Sun in the sky in the day and her dress is spangled with the stars of the night sky.
Nuit "swallows" the Sun when he sets and "gives birth" to the Sun each morning at dawn, in her form of Meh-Urt, She of the original Birthing.
Thus she is the trascendet body through which the Night Sun travels on his miraculous journey of consciousness and she contains the twelve hours of the night that comprise the journey through the Tuat.
Her name, Nuit, is the femenine form of Nu, for water, because the sea on which Nuit rests is Mu, the primeval ether, the eternal space/time continum."

Hi there!
What I most liked about this work was the fact that she was like creating the moon and the spreading it into the whole of the night (La nuit cβest belle!), like if she was some kind of Night Goddess. It reminds me a lot of some work Iβve seen from Amy Brown, especially one, that was around Demeter. 
Her long dress fits into the composition, its like if itβs ending was being part of the night and also of the ground.
Tho I donβt know anything about this kind of work Iβve found her face kind of alien-alikeβ¦ It was the only aspect of the whole work I didnβt quite love.
And itβs great to see how youβve respected the rule of the thirds!
Iβm sorry if I didnβt give you a proper critique, but Iβm not quite familiarized with that kind of work!...

This is really beautiful. I love the background and how the blues swirl together, and I love the stars and moons that seem to be shooting out of her hands like magic. I love her eyes as well, they seem to match the sky.

that's so beautiful! maybe you could've included Geb though - the aspect of the earth. in all the pictures over Nuit i've seen i've always seen her stretching over Geb. just a thought

I like the nocturnal theme that you used, it is different from your other works in this way. The model looks gorgeous, as ever, especially the eyes and the cherry lips... Mmm. You've found an incredible model, her posture looks really alive, even after having been manipulated! ^^ I think that the background is a bit cold, in particular in the center, nevertheless the small moons are very tasteful. Everything you create turns out in magic...
