Because it speaks to us, not just in a cutesy cartoon way, but in a way that bonds us like nothing else can. My Little Pony is a way to bring people that have absolutely nothing in common together, to meet each other and have conversations. Its a way of learning new ways to live and love your life, i can honestly say that as an 18 year old, MLP has genuinely changed my life for the better. Im not angry all the time anymore, ive learned how to be a better and nicer person. The show may come across as frufru learning, but the morals and lessons it teaches can be used in an everyday mannor, it teaches kids as well as adults a way to make friends. Havent you ever seen something that made you rethink your life in just a small way? Like maybe you'll smile at a passing stranger just to attempt to make their day a little better? I dont mean to go on and on, and im not trying to push on you something that you dont like, but to cmopletely and honestly answer your question, we like MLP because its a way to connect to people in a way some never thought they could, or its a way to help people make new friends or to simply better their lives as i have. I can only hope that you wont make fun of us or try to put us down for liking it, not saying that you do, just that i hope this has not lessened your opinion of us Bronies.
