quick update og her profile page to fit the look in the recent comic!will you ever learn what happened between the last (not yet completed) story and this challenge?
maybe...i mean i really would like to tell this (and more stories regarding this change) but this will
have to wait until i got more than 2 hours spare time per day again!
regarding her powers:
- she does not wield telekinetic powers anymore.
- those powers have been replaced with something else.
- her telepathy didn't change, but she greatly refined her astral projection.
- her body is mortal.
- her mind is not.

Hmmm... vast telepathic powers - astral projection - body is mortal, the mind is not... sounds a lot like Vigil (but with a better fashion sense!) Looking forward to seeing more of Lizan. Now Vigil is back in the DU maybe we could work on an encounter! (Especially as Vigil might hold Lizan partially responsible for leaving her with RAPTOR, way back when!)

unfortunately there won't be much more...this was kinda her last solo adventure, so i went a little crazy here.
with my new job, i have little to no spare time, so the stuff i can do is very limited.
also frankly spoken: the DU has become kinda dull and boring to me (and a couple other people)
so i'm gonna focus my attention on a new project.
however that doesn't mean i'll give up on lizan...i'll probably bring the character back at some
point in some way, but very different from her DU incarnation.

That's a shame - I guess it all comes down to whether you can work a good collaboration or plotline into the current challenges, really. If you can, great, if not - it's not so easy to be enthusiastic and find stuff to fire you creatively. Anyway, good luck with whatever you do next!

unfortunately this summer event was basically a copy of the first DU summer event and that original doppelganger challenge, so there really
wasn't anything interesting to do with, at least for my characters.
the new project will be heavily collab based, so fun is guaranteed there.

I really want to know more about this character. While reading Lulzy's comics I was introduced to this character NEMESIS. The way you and her wrote this character made me instantly like this character and her relationship with Spiers plus her twin. You artists on Deviant Art are good enough to self-publish, you guys ever thought out collaborating in a Kickstarter of an OCT book or just a comic in general featuring popular OCT contestants? I know i'd support it.

well the comic industry is a very difficult one. there are literally thousands and thousands of good webcomics, which means huge competition. i have two of my own comics running on tapastic, but they are enterily for free.
i tried patreon a while ago, but after almost zero resonance, i gave up on it and decided to keep this a hobby until a real chance to make a living out of that comes up.

Yeah, sadly this economy is shit, I too aspire to be a comic book illustrator and manga artist, but I plan to get a good job and slowly work my way up in the comic industry. I also want to become big on Youtube providing extremely detailed long tutorials on stuff not I struggled with and the fundamentals/other fun videos that none of the artists on Youtube tends to do, most are pretentious ass-clowns. I really appreciate the artists on Deviant Art for they're skill and advice. I just wish we could do more to help you guys become big, marvel comics? No way rather read these people on Deviant Art.

Well Vanessa doesn't count as people usually. We're talking about a fallen angel in a human body.

she is in the du gallery, but in the one for the villains!
but i'm not sure if she'd actually get along with a hero...so if you want to illustrate a picture with her, it should be a "what if" picture, meaning non-canon (and please keep it PG, lol)

Well, I suppose it depends on what you mean for "hero". I mean, Vanessa is a very unconventional one. I submitted her to the "heroes" gallery only because she believes what she does is good, but bear in mind that she fights against God and its minions. So maybe many would consider her an anti-hero if not a full fledged villain. And she's far from being judgemental on others' morals. She's a much dionysian type.
As per the "what if"... well the DU is hardly a canon or a continuity to me. Has anything been published or organized systematically? And who decides what that canon is? I mean, it's all a "what if" and an excuse for art gifts or exchange between members. It's not a job, right?
And what's PG? Not familiar with the term I'm afraid.

well, it is not published, no, but there is an official continuity going on. basically all of the story challenges are in-canon (unless the challenge journal says otherwise), that means what happens there is seen as the official timeline.
additionally most of the comics in the "DU comics" folder are in-canon aswell.
and just because it is not a job doesn't mean it has to end in chaos and anyone doing whatever they want (mja is very strict about the rules he established for
this thing btw), in fact i think it is fun to have an "official" history to look back to.
also, banshee is in the dark legion now and i have my story plans for her, which don't involve any romance (for a reason), that is why i said if you want to, keep it a non-canon thing.
and PG means parental guidance and is a rating system for motion picture, which basically means it should not include explicit content
